Ron Long photographing kelp.
Through much of academic life, I have been privileged to associate with photographer Ron Long. Ron has photo-documented through an exquisite set of kelp portraits of the British Columbia kelp flora and shots of peripheral marine activities referred to in My Kelp Book. These portraits were all taken in the Bamfield Marine Station during the 1970s when Ron was the SFU Department of Biology photographer. - Louis Druehl
